Conackamack Middle School students got a taste of cultures around the world at a recent International Food Festival! Students in Nicole Kragh’s and Jennifer Petsch’s 6th and 8th grade social studies classes concluded their cultural studies unit with the third annual event. Students wore traditional clothing and shared dishes that represented their cultural backgrounds. They also created presentations to showcase key elements of their heritage, helping to deepen their classmates’ understanding of diverse cultures. The event provided a meaningful opportunity for students to learn about one another’s backgrounds and to celebrate the diversity within the school community.
