Seventh-graders at Conackamack Middle School had a wonderful and enriching time attending “The Outsiders” live at the Jacobs Theatre on Broadway! The May 15 trip was a powerful experience for students, bringing to life the classic novel by S.E. Hinton, read by students in their English Language Arts classes.  Watching the stage production allowed students to deepen their understanding of the characters’ struggles and the message behind the book, and turned a school reading assignment into a memorable experience for all.
