Congratulations to Conackamack Middle School eighth-grader Claire Duan, who performed with the NJ All-State Intermediate Orchestra the weekend of May 9! 

Claire was accepted for this prestigious ensemble by auditioning alongside students from all over the state. 

Thanks to her Conackamack orchestra teacher Grace Lee for sponsoring her, and to Martin Luther King Intermediate School orchestra teacher Dr. Elisabeth Sato, who serves All-State Orchestra Performance Chair for the New Jersey Music Educators Association, and helped make this event possible for students across NJ.
